A practical 20-point checklist to evaluate any peptide supplier before placing an order. Work through it once per vendor and keep the result on file.
Identity and transparency
- 1. Verifiable registered company name and physical address
- 2. Working email, phone, and responsive technical support
- 3. Clear “about” information and real facility or team details
- 4. No therapeutic or “for human use” claims
Quality and documentation
- 5. Lot-specific certificate of analysis available on request
- 6. HPLC purity reported with a chromatogram trace
- 7. Mass-spectrometry identity confirmation
- 8. Independent third-party testing where claimed
- 9. Stated purity grade and peptide content
- 10. Endotoxin, sterility, or residual-solvent data where relevant
Product and pricing
- 11. Accurate labels with sequence, size, and lot number
- 12. Transparent price per milligram of active peptide
- 13. MOQ and wholesale/volume terms clearly published
- 14. Realistic market pricing (not far below competitors)
Logistics and service
- 15. Insulated, cold-chain packaging
- 16. Same-day or clearly stated dispatch time
- 17. Tracking and reliable international shipping to your country
- 18. Clear replacement and failed-lot policy
- 19. Positive, verifiable buyer history
- 20. Correct research-use labeling and export paperwork
A supplier that fails several documentation items—especially CoA, HPLC, or identity testing—should be disqualified regardless of price.
